This position is based in Otrokovice, Czech Republic, where we employ more than 400 employees in a modern production facility.
You will work closely with an international team and frequently travel, especially during the initial onboarding phase, to ensure smooth integration and collaboration.
General qualitative support for suppliers throughout the entire supplier life cycle (selection, approval, evaluation, classification, development and phase-out).
Approval of auditing as part of the Lapp approval process.
Conclusion of various contractual agreements with the supplier, such as quality assurance agreements, quality target agreements, etc.
Support for supplier complaints, e.g., in the event of escalation, together with Lapp Claim Management.
Initiate and coordinate corrective measures by monitoring and tracking preventive quality assurance measures at the supplier’s premises.
Collaboration on further development projects/concepts within the framework of LAPP Supplier Management for the continuous optimization of installed processes, specifications, methods and IT tools.
General interface activities related to category management, QM, R&D and supplier governance.

Education
Degree in industrial engineering, production, electrical engineering, quality management but also technicians with many years of practical experience in quality management/assurance, supplier management/development.
Experience
Minimum 5 years.
Knowledge of common quality management methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, etc.).
Certified auditor according to VDA 6.3.
Knowledge of common quality norms and standards, e.g., ISO 9000 series.
Skills
Fluent English (mandatory), basic German (not mandatory).
Flexibility and ability to deal with change.
Communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
